Children’s Residential Team Leader Required in Milton Keynes

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Children’s Residential Team Leader to join an organisation that is passionate about achieving the best outcomes for the young people they support.
As a Children’s Residential Team Leader, you will be offered high levels of support and an individual development plan for employees who are looking for fast-track career progression.
This role involves working with young people with emotional behaviour difficulties and behaviour that challenges.
As a Children’s Residential Team Leader your responsibilities will be;
- Supporting young people to achieve agreed outcomes detailed in their individual care plans.
- Ensuring the young people’s needs are meet and communicated across the team.
- Plan and lead shifts, supervising team members, delegating and ensuring the completion of daily tasks.
- Ensuring the home is meeting its regulatory requirements.
- Plan for and understand face to face interventions with young people.
- Ensuring the individual plans for the young people are implemented, updated and achieved.
- Liaising with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Administration, management of petty cash, and daily record keeping.
- Carry out risk assessments and health and safety checks.
To be considered for the position of Children’s Residential Team Leader you must be able to meet the below requirements ;
- Have a Diploma/ NVQ level 3 In Children and Young People or equivalent
- Have a full UK driving license with access to your own transport
- Ability to work shifts and sleep-ins
- 12 months experience of working with children with behaviour that challenges
- Willing to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by employer) and provide suitable professional reference
- 12 months experience as either a Children’s Senior Support Worker or as a Team Leader
